I knocked out another marathon training workout this morning – the "Over and Unders" session from week 2. Started with a mile warm-up keeping it super easy at 6.1mph or slower, which honestly felt almost too slow but that's the point. My legs were still a bit heavy from Sunday's long run, so the discipline to hold back actually paid off.

The main set was two 0.62-mile intervals, first at 6.8mph then bumping up to 7.2mph. That second rep definitely had me working – not gasping for air, but I could feel my heart rate climbing into that uncomfortable-but-sustainable zone. The 90 seconds of walking recovery between them felt both too short and just enough, if that makes sense. I used it to shake out my legs and get a few sips of water.

Finished with a 0.75-mile cool down, and I actually went slower than the warm-up pace because my legs were done. Total came to just under 5K in 28 minutes, which lines up perfectly with where I should be at this point in the plan. Two weeks down, ten more to go until race day.
