Morning Run — May 28, 2026
| 📏 Distance | 9.66 km (6.01 mi) |
| ⏱️ Duration | 50:02 |
| ⚡ Pace | 5:11 /km |
| ⛰️ Elevation | 7m |
I knocked out 9.66km this morning in just over 50 minutes, which put me right at a 5:11/km pace. That's pretty solid for me on a Thursday morning when my legs were still feeling Monday's workout. The route was flat—only 7 meters of elevation gain total—so I could just settle into a rhythm and let my body do what it knows how to do.
The weather was perfect for late May. Cool enough that I wasn't drenched by kilometer 3, but warm enough that I didn't need layers. I spent most of the run in that sweet spot where you're not thinking about pace or distance, just moving. My breathing felt easy, my legs felt strong, and I hit that flow state around the halfway mark where everything clicks.
Really happy with this one. A 5:11 pace on a casual morning run means the base fitness is there. Nothing flashy, just consistent effort paying off.
